I am home after my week of relaxing and I am down 2lbs!!   Relaxing is a good thing ...LOL :-)   I was able to stick to my healthy eating mainly avoided sugar... I also kept snacks on me so I didn't get really hungry.   I had a good time and now busy doing my laundry and getting food ready for the week of back to work.   Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend, here in Canada our long weekend was the weekend before, but like me allot of us use it as a part of a holiday week getting that extra day off tack onto our holiday to make for more time off together.

  2. Being down after vacation is a miracle:) Good for you! We used to go up into Canada for little weekend getaways when our money was worth so much more up there. The closest place to us is Nelson B.C. Kootenay Lake is beyond beautiful!!!

    1. Nelson...my Mother was born and raised there...it's beautiful I love that area - Ainsworth Hot Springs are amazing I love the caves.

  4. There is science to support that (relaxation helps)! Cortisol (the stress hormone) can definitely interfere with weight loss. Good for you losing weight on vacation!

  6. Good for you - Down 2 lbs - YEAH!! I know for a fact that when I am rested up, and even when I can get a full 7 hours of sleep at night, it helps with my weight loss efforts. Keep up the excellent work and thanks for sharing :)
