Hi Everyone,

I ended up gaining :(   I usually gain some just as my period starts so I am putting down to that.  I have such a sweet craving too along with that.  I was doing so well with my 6 month vacations from this and last month it came back and I notice it brought the sweet craving with it.  I am staying strong;  I tried making a cup of tea with some BCF friendly dark chocolate I found, but it's just not working.   I am staying away from everything but it's difficult.  Any suggestions??  what helps with the monthly sweet cravings?    Keep in mind that if I make something like the protein bars...which would so hit the spot! they sound delicious -  I couldn't stop - the freezer won't stop me...I just make a hot cup of tea and dip..LOL   I am very obedient to the call...Yes Master I am coming to get you! mmmm good.    So NO big batches of food I have to store and eat all of :-)    Most days I can do it...it's just you know that monthly sweet craving that seems to have a life of its own.

My alter-ego is calling I must go now.....coming master, what you want ice cream??  the gallon size??

  1. Don't do it! LOL! I like to make small individual things- itty bitty nut pies, chocolate nut cups, stuff like that. its best not to give in to the big cravings though..

  2. That's funny - I used to eat a big snickers bar and a diet coke when I was on my period before BFC.
Try 2 squares of dark 86% chocolate and rediwhip in a bowl. Eat a bite of chocolate - then a bite of rediwhip, yada, yada, yada.
    That works for me. :-)

    1. We don't have this yummy sounding "rediwhip" treat here I have the day off tomorrow so I should go find this and other things only found on the other side :-) I have my list ready to shop!

  3. I know how you feel... It's best if I keep high sugar snacks out of the house because I am a binger. When I stick to the dark chocolate and Redi-whip, or crunchy almond butter with Redi Whip, I never over-indulge because the sugar content is lower and it doesn't cause me to crave more. And if I do over-indulge, it's a BFC friendly food. Chin up - you are destined to succeed - I can see your determiniation. Also, if you find that you absolutely must return to the freezer for a snack, have a glass of water in between and wait a half-hour or so between snacks- I bet the craving will be gone. Also, Trina at Empowered Eating reminded me of a post that Amber posted a while back that deals with those times when we feel weak. Here is the link:
